Governor Strickland plans to cut $2,300,000 from the Dayton Metro Library’s budget in addition to the $4,000,000 that has already been cut in 2009. Another $4.7 million would be cut in 2010. These cuts would effect all of Ohio’s libraries and, if approved, would have devastating results.

We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who oppose these cuts and want to keep strong libraries in our state. We urge our leaders to act now to make sure these cuts are not approved.

20 Totten, Devan 08/29/09 1:11 pm New Lebanon If we didn't have a library what would the children do? There'd be no books, no internet for those who don't have it at home, and it would put the people in gerneral at a serious disadvantage.
